Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion or pursuit of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience or strong interest in working with a pediatric school population
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists
- Adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic academic setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs and document progress regularly
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school-based teams to facilitate student success
- Maintain meticulous records and comply with federal, state, and district regulations
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and support IEP (Individualized Education Program) process
