Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Completion or pursuit of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY
  • Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Experience or strong interest in working with a pediatric school population
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists
  • Adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic academic setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs and document progress regularly
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school-based teams to facilitate student success
  • Maintain meticulous records and comply with federal, state, and district regulations
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and support IEP (Individualized Education Program) process
