School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Winston-Salem, North Carolina

What We’re Looking For:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- SLP-CCC preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- School-based experience, especially with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities, preferred
- SLPAs are not being considered at this time
- Flexibility regarding caseload preferences; specifics discussed at interview
- Must be able to commit to a full school-year contract (August to June)
- Comfortable managing up to 35 students across varying needs
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to support student academic and social success
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize each student’s potential
- Document and track progress; maintain compliance with state and federal requirements
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing supervision (if CFY)
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere in East and Southern district schools
