Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners and elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist serving early childhood and 1st–4th grade in the Winona, MN area. Make a positive impact on the lives of 58 students with diverse needs, all within a supportive 3:1 service delivery model designed to provide both direct interventions and collaborative consult support. This role runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and offers a consistent 40-hour work week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
- Valid Minnesota state SLP license, or eligibility to obtain before the start date
- Previous experience in school settings and with early childhood and elementary caseloads preferred
- Ability to provide evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver both direct and consultative services
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organized, adaptable, and compassionate
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 58 students across early childhood and 1st–4th grades
- Plan and deliver effective therapy sessions using the 3:1 model, offering direct therapy, consultation, and indirect support
- Conduct assessments, identify students’ needs, and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Engage in regular collaboration with educators and families to optimize outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language development
