Speech Language Pathologist in Winfield, AL

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual or group settings in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and update documentation regularly
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams and attend IEP meetings as needed
- Provide training and resources to staff and families to foster students’ communication growth
