Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Cambridge, MA
Put your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to work this summer in a contract role supporting students near Cambridge, MA. This opportunity is ideal for SLPs who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence and are eager to make a difference in a school setting during a focused, short-term assignment.
Assignment Details:
- June 29th through August 6th
- Two days per week
- 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, totaling 10 hours weekly
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience providing SLP services in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students, addressing communication, articulation, and language concerns
- Assess student needs, set goals, and monitor progress closely
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s success
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members to coordinate care and share progress
