A travel Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Wilmington, DE, supporting multiple schools for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers the chance to work onsite in a dynamic educational environment while providing essential speech therapy services to students across various age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in early childhood, elementary, middle, and high schools.
- Support itinerant and building-based caseloads including preschool, general education, and special programs.
- Conduct evaluations and provide ongoing therapy, with a growing caseload throughout the school year.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop individualized treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with knowledge of evaluation procedures.
- Open to Candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Positions are not virtual and do not include Speech-Language Pathology Assistant roles.
- Strong evaluation and caseload management skills.
Work Details:
- Location: Wilmington, Delaware.
- Start Date: August 26, 2026 (with possible earlier start for professional development).
- End Date: June 10, 2027.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week including a 30-minute paid lunch.
- Hours vary by school level; typical times range from 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM depending on assignment.
