A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Wilmington, DE, supporting early childhood students within a public school setting. This position is onsite and requires a Delaware SLP license. It is ideal for certified SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), as Clinical Fellows and SLPA candidates are not preferred.
Location:
- Wilmington, Delaware
- Travel required between district sites
Schedule and Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute paid lunch
- Hours aligned with the 25/26 school year, approximately 8:25 AM to 3:55 PM
- School-year assignment: August 19, 2026 – June 15, 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to early childhood students with a variety of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to support student progress
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
- Maintain compliance with state and district regulations and guidelines
- Engage with families to support therapy goals and carryover activities
Qualifications:
- Delaware SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in educational settings with early childhood populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel within the district as needed
