Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Wilmington, DE

A specialized opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential summer services within a school district in Wilmington, DE. This travel position spans from late June through early August 2026, offering a focused engagement with students across multiple educational settings. Candidates with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based SLP experience are encouraged to apply. New graduates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship year (CF) are also welcome, though paraprofessional (SLPA) candidates will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to students in various educational environments, including elementary, secondary, early childhood, and transition-aged settings.
- Manage caseloads based on assigned locations and schedules.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication needs during Extended School Year (ESY) sessions.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and district requirements throughout the assignment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware SLP license is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings or equivalent training.
- Clinical Fellowship completion or equivalent eligibility.
- Ability to commit to working Monday through Thursday during the ESY period.
- Willingness to complete a background check with associated fees.
Locations and Schedule:
- Wilmington, Delaware
- Monday to Thursday, varying hours depending on student age group and site:
- Elementary & Secondary: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM (students), 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (staff)
- ESY Secondary: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (students), 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM (staff)
- Transition-age (Ages 18-22): 7:45 AM – 2:15 PM (students), 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM (staff)
- Early Childhood: 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM (students), 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM (staff)
