Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Willimantic, CT

Located near Willimantic, CT, the assignment spans from August 2026 to June 2027 and covers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with a weekly commitment of 35-37.5 hours.
As the district’s full-time SLP, you’ll collaborate across multiple school sites, offering your expertise district-wide. The caseload is diverse, providing the chance to work with students at every developmental stage, from kindergarten through high school.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure (or the ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and delivery
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive educational strategies
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress
