Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Whittier, CA
This contract position in the Los Angeles area offers a full-time opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support school-aged students within a structured and collaborative environment. Candidates will work onsite within various school locations, including itinerant assignments, serving children across a range of grade levels with caseloads typically between 50-60 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to school-aged children in compliance with district guidelines
- Collaborate with SLP trainers and lead clinicians for professional development and case support
- Participate in bi-weekly training cohorts organized by the district
- Manage caseload effectively, implementing individualized treatment plans
- Utilize assessment materials and resources (reimbursement of up to $2,500 provided)
- Maintain clear documentation and communication with school staff and families
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license and SLP teaching credential
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates will be considered if supervision can be arranged
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Ability to work full-time onsite in the Los Angeles area
- Strong organizational and communication skills
