This full-time Speech-Language Pathology position supports students across all grade levels, from pre-school through 12th grade, in a school setting in Tuscaloosa, AL. Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a K-12 caseload, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and communication development
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress consistent with school policies
Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification and licensure appropriate for pediatric and school-based practice
- Experience working with students of multiple grade levels, from pre-school to high school
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage children and families effectively
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt therapeutic approaches accordingly
