School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Westland, Michigan

What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows will be considered
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric/adolescent populations highly valued
- Ability to adapt intervention strategies to the unique needs of children and teens
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills
Your role will include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments for students at both the elementary and high school levels
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support student learning and participation
- Providing direct therapeutic services to students, individually and in small groups
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary educational planning
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other school staff to foster a supportive learning environment
