Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working in school-based settings strongly favored
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and support IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Participate in parent meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning opportunities
- Contribute positively to school culture and student success
