Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current or eligible State SLP licensure/certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Experience or passion for pediatric populations, ideally in educational environments
- Competency with teletherapy and traditional onsite instruction
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in multidisciplinary settings
- Knowledge of evaluation tools, IEP process, and evidence-based therapeutic strategies
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for early childhood students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with parents and faculty to support student success
- Deliver both in-person and teletherapy services as needed
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and resources to families and staff to further student achievement
- Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of young children in a classroom or virtual setting
