School Speech Language Pathologist - Waukegan, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric clients highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite only; virtual service is not an option for this role
- Motivation to help children thrive within an educational community
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's individualized goals
- Develop and implement IEPs, tailoring interventions to each student’s unique needs
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies
- Maintain a consistent schedule, working 35 hours per week onsite
