What You’ll Bring:
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to providing personalized, evidence-based therapy in an educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, onsite speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and write clear, compliant reports and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute data-driven progress updates
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for students to thrive
