What you’ll bring to the role:
- Current IL SLP License
- PEL with Speech Endorsement
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to serving diverse student populations
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Developing tailored interventions that enable educational access and improvement
- Working collaboratively with teachers, families, and other service providers to align support plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress records
- Participating in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Engaging students in evidence-based therapy, both individually and in group settings
