A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in the Waukegan, IL area, offering the opportunity to work across multiple school sites. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing speech and language therapy services to students within assigned schools, focusing on early childhood through elementary age groups.
  • Conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Managing caseloads that may be itinerant across up to two schools.
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with state licensure requirements.

Desired qualifications:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License with an SLP endorsement and valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Certified Speech Language Pathologists are preferred; consideration given to Clinical Fellows with supervision support.
  • Experience serving early childhood and elementary age groups is beneficial.
  • Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) with schedule flexibility across multiple school settings.

Work location is on-site within the Elgin, IL area, including schools such as IL Park Early Childhood, Independence Early Childhood, Timber Trails Elementary, and potential itinerant assignments. This role begins on January 5, 2026, and concludes on May 20, 2026.
