This contract role runs from August 5, 2026, through December 19, 2026, and focuses on providing critical support to preschool through 5th-grade students across two elementary settings. With a manageable caseload of around 40 students, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver high-quality school-based OT services, guiding students as they develop skills essential for academic and daily success.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT license (or eligibility) to practice in California
  • Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations preferred
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and progress monitoring
  • Familiarity with teletherapy and collaborative service delivery
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in preschool through 5th grade
  • Carry out comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, analyzing results to support student growth
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expertise in accommodations and interventions
  • Develop clear, measurable goals and document student progress at regular intervals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, speech-language pathologists, and other support professionals to implement best practices
  • Deliver services on-site and/or via teletherapy as appropriate
