Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in San Jose, CA

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid OTR/L license for practice in California
- Experience in school-based Occupational Therapy services
- Familiarity with evaluation and re-evaluation procedures
- Strong background working with pediatric populations
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers, parents, and related service professionals
- Comfortable participating actively in IEP meetings and documentation
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to thrive independently and adapt in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students in preschool through 5th grade
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations
- Participate as an engaged member of the IEP team, creating and updating plans
- Monitor progress and prepare timely reports for families and staff
- Work closely with educators and staff to integrate OT strategies
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a collaborative, engaging environment
