Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid license to practice as an SLP in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary settings
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Delivering therapy services to students in both individual and group formats
- Participating in the creation and review of IEPs, contributing your expertise to drive student progress
- Maintaining accurate, timely records of interventions and student outcomes
- Educating staff and families to carry over therapy strategies outside of sessions
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
