Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP or strong CF (Clinical Fellowship) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric or elementary-age populations preferred
- Strong collaboration skills for teaming with educators and other professionals
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, maintain accurate records, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to build supportive learning environments and promote carryover of communication goals
- Utilize evidence-based practices and contribute to the success of the school’s multidisciplinary team
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
