Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech-language services
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery is highly valued
- Background in healthcare or school settings as an SLP or SLPA considered a plus
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop rapport and motivate students across various age groups
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs, both onsite and/or via teletherapy as needed
- Conduct thorough evaluations, assessments, and screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to design and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to support student success
- Offer guidance and mentorship to support staff or SLPAs as appropriate
