A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in New Haven, CT, to provide services for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, with the possibility of increase, delivering evidence-based speech and language interventions to K-8 students, collaborating with educators and families, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with district and state standards.
Qualifications:
- Hold Initial Educator Teacher Certification with a Special Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology specific to the state
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Minimum of one year post-graduate clinical experience; no new graduates
- Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and federal/state regulations related to speech-language services in education
