Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Washington, District of Columbia

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year, serving students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade at an elementary school setting in Washington, DC. This is a contract position providing onsite services with a focus on supporting children’s speech and language development across a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students in grades PK-8
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school district and service standards
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly seen in school-age children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Washington, DC
