Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- At least one year of school or pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to work onsite, providing direct support to K-5 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; responsive and proactive
- Coachable, adaptable, and a self-starter, eager to engage with both students and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessments, therapy, and interventions for K–5 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation following school protocols and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, supporting students’ specific educational goals
- Communicate progress and strategies with families and school faculty
- Adapt and tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs within the academic environment
