Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Active and valid SLP licensure in the state of Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience in school settings is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to manage a caseload of 50+ students
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct therapy and interventions to students in PreK through 5th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Conduct speech and language assessments, documenting goals and outcomes
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings
- Offer guidance and resources to educators and parents regarding best practices for supporting communication in the classroom
This assignment begins September 8, 2026, and runs through June 18, 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday. Caseload consists of approximately 52 students, offering both variety and rewarding engagement.
