Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Holds an active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state, with full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles, specifically within ASD programs, is preferred
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and conduct evidence-based therapy
- Strong skills in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and families
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Passion for supporting elementary-aged children’s communication and social development in an educational environment
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload in an ASD classroom
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders using best practices
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure student progress
- Develop and maintain IEPs, progress notes, and required documentation according to school and legal standards
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on communication needs and strategies within the school community
