Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license (Ohio)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy sessions for students individually and in groups
- Document student progress, maintain thorough and timely records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student success
- Offer guidance on augmentative and alternative communication when appropriate
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field
