Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
- Current South Carolina Teaching Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff, families, and students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation services in compliance with IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and reports as required by school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
