Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Hawaii
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital service delivery is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies tailored to each child
- Deliver direct therapy services, both in-person and through teletherapy, to ensure access and consistency
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other multidisciplinary team members to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring and reporting
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based SLP, continuing professional education as required
