Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology license in California (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous school-based experience is essential
- Experience working with middle school populations preferred
- Commitment to fostering communication skills in a diverse student body
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview for initial screening
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle school students
- Conduct assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Maintain meticulous records of progress and attendance in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource to the school community regarding language, speech, and communication development
