Speech Language Pathologist in Van Nuys, CA

You’ll be part of a passionate school-based team, lending your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) and fostering a positive impact within a supportive educational community. The contract runs from August 11th to June 3rd, with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule (30 hours weekly).
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- SLPA certification or licensure required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with supporting SLPs in implementing therapy plans
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families

Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in administering therapy to students as outlined in individualized education plans
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate documentation of student progress

- Communicate observations and updates to supervising SLPs
- Participate in team meetings and support a positive, inclusive school culture
