School Speech Language Pathologist - Simi Valley, California

You’ll be working 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, within a high school or junior high setting, collaborating closely with a dedicated and supportive SLP team.
Your key strengths should include experience within school settings and the ability to support Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including those with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence). An enthusiasm for working with youth and a passion for helping students gain confidence in communication are essential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure in California
- Proven experience supporting SLPs in school settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience working in high school or junior high environments is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the SLP/SLP-CCC in delivering speech and language services to students
- Prepare, organize, and implement therapy materials under SLP supervision
- Assist with documentation, progress tracking, and scheduling
- Collaborate with school staff to carry out individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Engage positively with students, staff, and families
