Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Usaf Academy, CO
Take your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to the next level in a dynamic PreK-12 school environment. Your main focus will be delivering comprehensive speech-language services to a diverse student body. Collaborate closely with other professionals and families, and benefit from strong supervision available for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) placements, creating an ideal atmosphere for both seasoned SLPs and those new to the field.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Speech Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification
- Experience providing school-based speech/language therapy preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver both direct and indirect services for students from PreK through 12th grade
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to collaborative planning
- Work with educators and families to support students’ communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and comply with documentation requirements
A competitive hourly pay range of $48–$54 is offered, along with comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage to support your wellbeing. Supervision for CFY placements opens the door for newer speech-language pathologists eager to grow in a supportive environment.
