Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders among students of varying ages
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver therapy sessions—individually and in groups—supporting academic and social growth
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive student support
- Maintain thorough data collection and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates to families and staff
