Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLP-CFY
  • Experience or training in school-based settings is strongly valued
  • Passion for serving children and adolescents in an educational context
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to individual student needs and demonstrate creative problem-solving

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to K-12 students, both individually and in small groups
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student learning and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports in compliance with school and legal standards
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute positively to the school’s multidisciplinary team
