Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license (NY SLP)
- Certification as SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
- Experience working in schools or with early childhood populations is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct speech-language therapy for children aged 3-5
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on students’ needs
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to support each child’s communication development
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, interventions, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Provide guidance and education to staff and parents for carryover of therapy goals
In this role, you can expect a full-time schedule spanning five days each week, working with a supportive team committed to student success.
