School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Troutville, Virginia
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026–2027 academic year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This onsite, school-based position allows you to choose between full-time or part-time hours to best fit your schedule, while working with students from PreK through 12th grade and contributing to their communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Keep accurate records and maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines
- Contribute as an active participant in IEP and student support meetings
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Virginia SLP license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; new graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
