Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Valid California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric caseloads is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt techniques to meet individual student needs
- Commitment to providing onsite services (no virtual options with this assignment)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans based on students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff
- Maintain thorough and organized documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers, providing resources and progress updates
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
