Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist through a flexible hybrid contract role! This opportunity lets you split your time—three days per week onsite and two working from home—delivering in-person and virtual therapy services within a school-based environment. You'll serve a diverse student population with varying caseloads, making each week both dynamic and rewarding.
Ideal candidates will possess experience in providing speech and language interventions in academic settings, combined with strong virtual care abilities. New assignments and schools may vary, adding variety and keeping your work engaging.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP license (required)
- Background in school-based speech-language pathology
- Comfortable adapting services for both in-person and virtual settings
- Familiar with the needs of Pre-K through high school students
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements promptly (including VA Dept. of Social Services check and TB test)
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy both onsite (three days) and remotely (two days) each week
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input as needed
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with educational teams and families
- Support compliance with state and district guidelines
This full-time position begins in early August and runs through the end of May, offering a consistent 37.5-hour work week in a supportive school environment with a blend of on-site and remote flexibility.
