Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills and a compassionate approach to student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain thorough documentation
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
