In this role, you’ll use your expertise to deliver essential services to students, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to a positive, growth-oriented learning environment.
Your experience with pediatrics, strong communication abilities, and commitment to helping students achieve their academic and personal goals will be highly valued. Whether you are a Clinical Fellow (CFY) eager to launch your school-based career, or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), your skills are needed to make a meaningful difference.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Experience with school-aged populations (K-12) strongly preferred
- Open to SLP-CF and SLP-CCC; CCC-SLP preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and documentation in a school-based setting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12th grade students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy in individual and group settings
- Conduct progress monitoring and maintain timely documentation according to district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with compliance
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
