The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering a full-time schedule (40 hours/week, 7:30am–4:00pm) within a thoughtfully managed travel radius—never more than a 1-hour or 20-mile commute between schools.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Active, posted CA SLP License and a valid CTC credential (preliminary, clear, or Certificate of Clearance)
- Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates are welcome with appropriate supervision arranged—no SLPA’s please
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong commitment to evidence-based assessment and therapy for diverse caseloads (ages vary)
- Highly organized with the capacity to support between 55-60 students across 1-4 campuses, most commonly 2
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy within elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Collaborate with site-based case managers (no additional case management duties required)
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and support students’ educational and communication development
- Utilize assessment materials, with reimbursement provided (up to $2,500)
- Adapt therapy to meet the varied communication needs of students across assigned schools
