Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Tonkawa, Oklahoma
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience or interest in teletherapy is also valued, as is the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in school-based or pediatric healthcare speech therapy
- Comfort with elementary students and mild to moderate caseloads (mainly articulation-focused)
- Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms is a plus
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech/language therapy to an elementary caseload of ~50 students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct assessments and track student progress
- Offer support and education to caregivers and staff
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
