Speech Language Pathologist in Tonganoxie, KS

If you're an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for supporting elementary students, this contract opportunity is designed for you. Two full-time positions are available working with elementary-aged learners in a dynamic, collaborative school setting. The roles run from August 11, 2026, to May 26, 2027, totaling 37.5 hours per week and offer the chance to plan your own schedule across two school sites. You'll be instrumental in fostering student growth through both therapy and evaluations, serving a manageable caseload of approximately 65 students per SLP.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Kansas
- SLP-CCC preferred; open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Experience in school-based settings and/or with elementary-age children
- Proficient in conducting therapy and evaluations
- Ability to organize and manage a dynamic caseload across multiple locations
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
- Must be able to be onsite; SLPAs are not eligible for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Complete evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Coordinate services and schedules between two schools
- Maintain detailed records and work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
- Utilize evidence-based practices to improve student outcomes
- Adhere to school policies and state regulations
