Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by providing speech and language services to elementary-aged children in a supportive educational environment. Two full-time positions are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who feel at home in the school setting and excel at engaging young learners. This contract runs from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Kansas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year will be considered
- Prior experience with elementary school caseloads is highly valued
- Strong organizational skills, especially when splitting time between school sites
- Effective communicator with students, families, and school staff
- Comfortable conducting both therapy sessions and evaluations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and comprehensive evaluations for a caseload of around 65 elementary-aged students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and update progress notes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve students onsite, primarily across two school locations; manage your schedule to maximize service delivery
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes students’ speech and language growth
