Speech Language Pathologist in Tonganoxie, KS

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with elementary-aged students, where your expertise in speech-language pathology will make a difference. Two full-time SLP positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year, providing services across a caseload of approximately 65 students. This role offers autonomy in scheduling, as you may divide your time between two school sites and design your own workflow.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Kansas SLP license (CF candidates welcome; SLPAs not accepted)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings desirable
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Capable of conducting both therapy and evaluations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students, fostering communication and social skills
- Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
- Manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing needs and adjusting schedules as necessary
- Split time between two campuses, with the flexibility to plan your own schedule
- Stay up to date with best practices and maintain professional licensure
This is an in-person role beginning August 11, 2026, and running through May 26, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week.
