School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Spring, Texas

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) in speech-language pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong sign language skills required
- Experience in school-based SLP settings, particularly with adolescent populations
- Capacity to manage a caseload of up to 50 students at both middle and high school levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with students’ IEPs and district policies
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive communication environments
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student progress, evaluations, and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and staff development activities
- Travel between assigned middle and high school locations during the workday
This role offers a consistent weekday schedule of 35 hours per week (7-hour days, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), allowing you to focus on student success while maintaining work-life balance.
