Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with working with students across various age groups (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, support staff, and families
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Monitor progress, maintaining accurate records and reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences as needed
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families to support carryover of strategies beyond therapy sessions
