Speech Language Pathologist in Thomasville, NC

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license (CCC or Clinical Fellow accepted)
- School-based SLP experience preferred, with strengths in working with students diagnosed with Autism (AU) and those with low cognitive disabilities
- Willingness to travel within the district as needed
- Capable of managing caseloads of up to 35 students
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- SLPA credentials not accepted for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students within the district
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate student records and provide progress updates
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet unique student needs for maximum engagement and progress
Enjoy a full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility in caseload assignment based on your preferences, discussed at the interview stage. The district offers collegial support and resources, and can provide supervision for SLP-CFs pursuing their certification.
