We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) licensed in North Carolina for contract assignments working within schools in predominantly the East or Southern areas of the district.
This opportunity is set for the entire academic year, running from August 12, 2026, through June 11, 2027, and offers a full-time schedule with approximately 35 to 37.5 hours per week. The district values flexibility and can accommodate your caseload preferences. During the interview, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss specific caseload details, though caseloads will not exceed 35 students. You’ll work alongside school teams focused on empowering students with exceptional needs, including those with Autism (AU) and lower cognitive abilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required (SLP-CF applicants welcomed; supervision is available)
- School-based and/or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Strong understanding or background working with Autism and low cognitive abilities highly desired
- Open to working full-time for the entire school year
- Organized, collaborative, and passionate about helping students
